Sometime after the untimely and early death of her mother, in 1914, she and her father moved to OK.
She married Alvin Clarence "A.C."/"Bud" Johns, Rosedale, McClain Co., and to this union was born an infant daughter, Irma Lou, born and died 22 Sep 1928.
Bud was born on 6 May 1885 and died 4 Nov 1956 in Purcell, McClain Co., OK. After his death, her father resided with her in Rosedale until his death in 1958, at the age of 94.
Beulah was active in the American Red Cross; served as the first woman elder of the Rosedale Presbyterian Church; and was known for her beautiful quilts made from a ceiling- hung wooden frame, which could be lowered for use and raised for storing.
She lived 100 years and was loved by many. Her family held a Centennial Birthday Celebration Reception on Oct. 19, 1991 at Sunset Estates Nursing Home,in Purcell.
Services were held on Sat., May 30, at Wadley's Funeral Chapel, Purcell, with Dr.George Miller and Rev. Russell Newville officiating. Casketbearers were her grandsons, Bill, Lymon, and Joe Johns and nephews, D. J. Yoakum, and H.T. and Max Whitfield.
