Katharine was a member of the First Baptist Church in Belmont and formerly worked for the Maritime Commission in Washington, D.C. from 1944 until 1946.
She is survived by her sons, William M. Ryalls, III "Mark" and wife Pamela of Lewisville, N.C., Phil Ryalls and wife Ann of Lexington, N.C., daughter, Virginia Ryalls of Belmont, N.C., grandchildren, Margaret Ryalls Mathes and husband Jason, Katharine Ryalls and Elizabeth Ryalls, brother, Rev. James M. Armstrong, Sr. and wife Heli of Lake Junaluska, N.C.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Ryalls, Jr.
Service:First Baptist Church in Belmont, with Reverend Robert Baker, Reverend James M. Armstrong, Sr. and Reverend James M. Armstrong, Jr. officiating.
