The town hall was crowded Thursday night with a hot argument was in progress before Police Justice Charles S. Garey. It was a family affair. The complainant, Vincent Ranewicz, of College Avenue, is a hard-working and honest citizen. He has but one eye, the other socket being filled by a glass eye. The defendant, Mikolay Przydryga and is known as Mike Miller, is a brother-in-law of the complainant. With their families, they attended a party at Jacob Witoski's and Miller is said to have made remarks about his sister-in-law, the wife of Ranewicz. The latter is alleged to have asked his relative to be quiet and less talkative, and Miller is alleged to have dealt Ranewicz a severe blow over the glass eye. Mike Miller was arrested for assault in the third degree, found guilty and fined $10, which he paid.
