Moved to the Seattle area in 1901 after being admitted to the New York state bar. He practice law until 1919, after which he devoted himself to the management of commercial property. He had also served in the Washington State Legislature.
Gen. Beebe enlisted in the Washington National Guard in 1906 as a private. He eventually rose to Major General. Over his objections, he was declared physically disqualified when the Guard was called to active duty in 1940. He retired from the Guard in 1943.
He married Daisy Aileen Curtiss on June 8, 1910 in King County, Washington. They had two children, Curtiss and Albert.
