Gibbs Todd, 64, of 622 Mill Street, died in Veteran's Hospital, Durham, Friday night, following an illiness of several weeks. He was born January 27, 1897 in Bertie County, son of late William and Lucy Todd. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. F. F. Simmons and Mrs. Mayo Ramsey, both of Rocky Mount: two brothers, Lonnie Todd, of Charlotte, and Hilary Todd, of Goldsboro. He was a veteran of World War I. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the Johnson Funeral Home chapel, in charge of the Rev. Homer Bulter, of Parksburg, N. C. a former paster of Mill Street Penecostal Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery.
