William Alfred Garrigue of 980 Hillside Avenue, Plainfield, N . J., who was president of Levering & Garrigues Company and one of the
leaders in steel construction in the metropolitan district before he retired a short time ago, died on Thursday (Thursday would be Jan. 18) in Thomasville, Ga., while on a motor trip with his wife. He was 66 (should be 76) years old.
For many years Mr. Garrigues was president of the Iron League of New York. He was a member of the Engineers Club of New York, the Mountain Lakes Club of Florida, the Plainfield Country Club and the Anchor Lodge of Masons. He was an elder and trustee of the Crescent Avenue Presbyterian Church in Plainfield.
