Loney L. Behnke, 91
, Fitchburg, Wis., died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011. She was
born Sept. 6, 1920, in the Town of Rantoul, in Calumet County, to Frieda and
William Lemke Sr. She married Clifford F. Behnke on Jan. 8, 1944. During
their life together, they lived in Reedsville, Manawa, Appleton, Algoma,
Manitowoc, Watertown and Madison.
She is survived by a son; a grandson; and a brother (private).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford F.; two sisters, Sophie
(Vitus) Wiegert and Helen Haese; and a sister-in-law, Priscilla Wilharms.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 28, at 11 a.m. at St. John St.
James Lutheran church in Reedsville. The Rev. John Chworowsky will officiate.
Burial will be in St. John St. James Cemetery, Reedsville. Friends may call
at the church on Wednesday, from 10 a.m. until the time of service. The
Wieting Funeral Home in Reedsville is assisting the family with arrangements.
