Mrs. George Burns, 76, died at the home of her son, F.C. Burns, 400 Powell street, Wednesday night, after an illness of two weeks.

The body will be carried to Mount Sharp cemetery this Thursday afternoon, wehre funeral services will be held at four o'clock.

Grandma Burns died in Austin Wednesday night, March 4, and was buried Thursday evening in the Mt. Sharp cemetery. She was seventy-five years old and leaves several sons and one daughter, a host of grandchildren and several great grandchildren to mourn her loss. A large number of friends and relatives accompanied the body from Austing and many old neighbors from Henly attended the services at Mt. Sharp, which were conducted by Rev. J.R. Kelly. One son, Geo. Burns [sic] and family from Gonzales also attended.
