She was born October 28, 1926 in Charleston, WV to the late Prince and Tishie (Parker) Dickens. Letha was married December 16, 1946 to William E. Cochran Jr. who preceded her in death on September 17, 1983.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by brother Linwood Dickens, sister Faye Hamerick, and one infant brother.
Letha is survived by children; Tishie Yvonne (Terry) Creasy, Bucyrus, Rod (Delores) Cochran, Lubbock, TX, Joe (Mary) Cochran of Heavener, OK, Steve (Anissa) Cochran of Candlewood Lake, Dave (Jackie) Cochran of Bucyrus and Jeff (Mary) Cochran of Bucyrus; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brother J.C. Dickens of Charleston, WV; and sister Ann Smith of Palm Bay, FL.
Letha moved to Bucyrus in 1967 and was retired from Swan and the ADAMH Board.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am in the First Alliance Church with Pastor Bill Strader officiating, burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Wednesday from 3:00-7:00 pm.
Memorials may be made to Maplecrest Assisted Living.
