"Mrs. Potts, wife of Mr. George Potts, of this City [Frederick, MD], and sister of the late Maj. Ringgold, who was killed in the Mexican war, died suddenly last Thursday, while on a visit to her daughter residing at West River, MD. Her remains were brought to this city on Friday evening and on Saturday were interred in Mt. Olivet Cemetery followed by a large concourse of sorrowing friends.
