It is with sincere regret that we chronicle the death of this gentleman. He was one of the best citizens of our county, and as a citizen was beloved and respected by all who knew him. At the time of his death he was Trustee of Highland Township whose office he had fitted for some years, with great satisfaction to the people. Mr. OWEN was 45 years of age, having been born the 16th day of January 1825. He died on the same farm, which he was born, having resided on it all his life. He was a consistent member of the Baptist Church and has been for the past fifteen years. He leaves a widow and three children, who have the sympathies of many friends in their bereavement
