Susannah OWEN, was and had been for many years, a zealous member of the Baptist Church, and to the great joy and comfort of all her numerous friends and relatives, when she came to die she left unmistakable evidences that she was going to reap the reward of a well spent life. Could the prayers and untiring attention of her children, together with her many devoted friends, have had any avail, Aunt Suckey would have yet lived. But, alas! Her time had come. Great is her loss to us; and her eternal gain we weep of course, but not as those who have no hope. Buried Armstead/Owen/Bland Cemetery. 12 Mar 1786 – 2 July 1858
