Nola Cazier was born on Oct. 1, 1928 to Ted and Rose Cazier in Bancroft, Idaho. She passed peacefully Aug. 28, 2005 in Spanish Fork, Utah. Nola was a resident of Logan, Utah for the past 11 years, until health issues required her to move closer to her daughters. Nola is a graduate of Star Valley High School and of the LDS Seminaries. She also graduated from the LDS Institute of Religion. She was married to Dell Cazier Jan. 31, 1947. After schooling and various jobs they settle in Boise for 20 years, where they raised most of their eight children. Later they were divorced. Nola attended Boise State College and held many responsible callings in church. She was always of service to those in need, setting a great example for her family. Over the next several years she lived in various places in Utah and Idaho, making many friends along the way, finally settling in Logan in 1994, which she loved. Nola was preceded in death by her parents, brother Verl and sons Ted and Page. She is survived by her sister Carol Lyn McIntosh; brother Eldon; and her children Kathy Dell Tracy of Spokane, Wash., Monty of New Braunfels, Texas, Drake of Athol, Idaho, Merrill of Ogden, Utah, Melanie Thompson of Clearfield, Utah and Kimberly Drue of Springville, Utah. Nola leaves 39 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loves. Funeral services will be held at Logan 4th Ward Building, 294 N. 100 E., Logan, Utah Friday, Sept. 2, 2005 at 10 a.m. Viewing will be 1/2 hour before the funeral. Graveside services will be at Afton, Wyo. cemetery Friday, Sept. 2, 3 p.m. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Schwab Mortuary in Afton.
