Maranda Stone, 89 Of Delhi Succumbs
TURLOCK, March 28, - Mrs. Maranda Stone, 89, a resident of Delhi for the last ten years, died yesterday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. George [Lillian] Hubbard.
Mrs. Stone was a native of Ohio. Besides Mrs. Hubbard, she leaves another daughter, Mrs. Pearl Blaine of Berkeley, and three sons, Walter O. Stone, Kansas; Roy H. Stone, Ohio, and Clarence A. Stone, Pennsylvania. She also leaves twenty-two grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Mrs. Stone was a member of the Delhi Community Church and the Women's Club.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the O'Hara Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Turlock Cemetery.
Wife of Gilbert H. Stone, daughter of Robert & Rosina (McIntyre) Patterson. She was the mother of six children.
