BECKLEY - Nello Peitrantozzi, 78, of Beckley died Dec. 25, 1998, from cancer at the home of his daughter, Patti Price of Huntington.
He was a painting contractor with over 30 years' service and a member of St. Francis deSales Catholic Church, Beckley. He was a member of Knights of Columbus, Father John Halpin Council, where he served as committe chairman. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, where he received the Purple Heart.
Also surviving: brothers, Dandelo of Beckley, Louis of Bluefield, Aldo of Greensboro, N.C.; sisters, Mary DeMarchi of Bluefield, Va., Lena Masseroni of Clemmons, N.C., Velia DeMarchi of Southampton, N.J.; two grandchidren; several nieces and nephews.
Service will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Francis deSales Catholic Church with the Rev. Maria Asir officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley. Friends may call from 6 to 8:30 p.m. today at Calfee Funeral Home, Beckley, where a scriptural prayer service will be held at 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 39101.
