Robert Jr. was the eldest of Robert Sr. and Mary Gross George's children. After serving with the 1st Cavalry, US Army in Korea, he became a carpet layer and opened his own business in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is predeceased by his parents, his step-mother Myrtle Tipton George, his brother Roy and his half-brother David. Robert Jr. is survived by his wife, two sons, five daughters, 26 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild, and two sisters.
