Graveside services for Earl Edward Elliott, 83, of Littlefield will be at 10 a.m. today in Idalou Cemetery with the Rev. Monty Hilliard officiating.

Burial is under the direction of Hammons Funeral Home.

He died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2000, at Knight Nursing Home.

He was born Sept. 22, 1916, in Saint Jo. He married Billie Saunders on Jan. 27, 1942, in Levelland. She died Dec. 14, 1983. He was a farmer and lived in Lamb County for many years. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Littlefield.

Survivors include a son, Bill of Abernathy; a daughter, Linda Oden of Miami, Fla.; two brothers, Buford of Lubbock and Emmitt of San Antonio; a sister, Emma Lou Auld of Morton; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
