** Alva's Missouri Death Certificate # 8138 from Gentry County, Missouri incorrectly lists him as buried in the Lone Star Cemetery. He is buried near his parents,grandparents, and numerous relatives in the GROOM family cemetery, not far from the Lone Star cemetery.

He was married to Tuleta Maud GRACE.
They had 3 daughters - Bertha Althea, Norma Ferne, and Alvah Ruth (who was born 7 months after Alva passed away). Alva died of pneumonia caused by typhoid. Sadly he was only 25 years, 2 months and 3 days old when he passed.
