Rachel Davis Reeves, 87, of Laurel, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2015.
She retired from the Laurel City School District. Rachel was a member of West Laurel Baptist Church all of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles B. Reeves; parents, Pearl Bush Davis, Daucey C. Davis, and Manilla Coley Davis; and her brother, Troy A. Davis.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Willie K. Davis; nephew, Larry T. Davis; great-nephew, Derek M. Davis (Danyee); great-niece, Kimberly Hagan (Jared); two great-great nephews, Brodie and Gavin Hagan; and a very special and dear friend, Ms. Betty Henderson.
Rev. Brandon Powell will conduct services at Memory Chapel. Visitation will be Thursday, December 3, at 12 noon with the service at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery.
