Funeral services for Mrs. Ransom R. Rand, 94 Cherry avenue, were held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Spikes & McDonald funeral home, with burial at Riverside cemetery. Rev. Joseph N. Barnett of Trinity Episcopal Church officiated. Pall bearers were Walter, Elmer, George, Albert, William and Herbert Rand.

Mrs. Anna Rand, wife of Ransom R. Rand, died at 1:15 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at her home, 94 Cherry avenue, after an illness of about 10 days. Death was caused by pneumonia, but her last illness had been preceded by several months of failing health.
Mrs. Rand, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Guhl, was born in this city Aug. 28, 1872, and had been a resident of Oshkosh practically her entire life.. She was married March 17, 1898 to Ransom R. Rand. He and two sisters are her only immediate survivors. The sisters are Mrs. B. A. Terrio of this city and Mrs. Roy Farrell of Shannahow, Il. There are also seven nephews and seven nieces.
Mrs. Rand was not a member of any lodge or social club nor had she taken any active part in social activities in recent years although, until she sustained a fall in skating several years ago, she had taken part in outdoor activities.
The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the Spikes &; McDonald funeral home. The funeral services will be conducted by Rev. J. N. Barnett, rector of Trinity Episcopal church.
