Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mrs. Bobbie Smith, age 82, of Swainsboro, GA on Monday, September 23, 2013 at the Emanuel Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at 4:00 PM, in Swainsboro City Cemetery with Elder Gary Johnson officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Cemetery and at the residence following the service.
Mrs. Smith was born in Millen, Jenkins County, GA and had lived most of her life in Swainsboro. She was a retired LPN with over 40 years with Emanuel Medical Center. She was a Primitive Baptist. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Pearl Drew Clifton; a sister, Ruth Johnson, two brothers, John D. Clifton and Gene Clifton; and her husband, Ennis Powell Smith.
