Lucetta Jacobson, 98, of Idaho Falls, passed away September 21, 2013, at Arrowpoint Assisted Living Center. She was under the care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho.

Lucetta was born January 6, 1915, in Rigby, Idaho, to William Heber Adams and Arlitta Hatfield Adams. She grew up in Grand Valley (now under Palisades Reservoir) and attended country schools.

On January 5, 1945, she married Clon Wallace Jacobson at Dillon, Montana. They raised Lucetta's daughter, Lenore (from a previous marriage to Azile Sanderson), as well as their son and daughter, Van and Linda. Lucetta and Clon eventually settled in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where they lived for 56 years. She was a homemaker, ranch wife, and clerk. She moved to Rosetta Assisted Living (now Arrowpoint) in Idaho Falls in October, 2007. Clon passed away January 14, 2008.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed skiing, square dancing, arrowhead hunting, and quilting.

9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three sisters, Elmina Adams Rose Grant, Renee Adams Hathaway Pietila, and Shirley Adams Longacre, and an infant brother, William Heber Adams.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 1, 2013, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue. Burial will be in the Elliott Cemetery in Wilson, Wyoming.
