NANNIE LYNCH

Nannie Viola Stricklin Lynch of Savannah died Monday, Sept 10, at Harbert Hills Nursing Home at the age of 89. She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of Avery Pickens and Betty Austin. She was married to Maude Stricklin who died in 1971, and she later married Wm. Lynch who preceded her in death in 1975. She lived in Franklin County for 13 years, and the rest of her life in Hardin County. She was a homemaker and a member White's Creek Freewill Baptist Church. The funeral was Wednesday, Sept 12, at 1 p.m. at Shackelford

Chapel with burial in Stricklin Cemetery. Thomas Vann and E.T. McCoy officiated. She is survived by three daughters, Melissa Baugus of Savannah, Annie Laura Markham,of Lynchburg, Va., and Virginia Curtis of Winchester, three sons, Leonard F. Stricklin of Akron, Ohio, Thomas Stricklin of Savannah and Johnny Stricklin of Olive Hill; 21 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
