In Memory of Little Ocey King

On April 4th, the death angel visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. E. M. King and took from them their little son Ocey. He was born August 11th, 1908.

On February 22, he was playing in the house with his little sister and somehow, unknown to any of the family, his clothing caught on fire and he was fatally burned, though he lingered for six weeks, suffering untold misery. Mr. King called three good physicians, and he had the best of attention both from his parents and the community, but he passed away regardless of medical aid and attention. He was an acception of a child, and a favorite among all who knew him.

While the parents and family mourn their loss, it is good to have the assurance that he has entered that beautiful home where there is no more suffering nor tribulations, for the lord hath said, "Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of heaven." So, father and mother, these words should be a consolation to you. You will never see little Ocey again on this earth, but remember that he is in that promised home just awaiting your coming. He can not come to you, but you can go to him. S. K. B.
