Kenneth F. Sell, 73, of 947 S. 35th St., Manitowoc, died Sunday morning, March 11, 1990, at his residence.

Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Tuesday at Reinbold-Pfeffer Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Msgr. Alfred A. Schneider will officiate with burial to follow at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Calvary Cemetery. Military graveside services will be accorded by VFW Post No. 659.

He was born January 15, 1917, at Two Rivers, Wisconsin, son of the late Rubin and Elvira Baum Sell. He grew up and was educated at Two Rivers, Wisconsin. In September of 1942, he entered the United States Navy and was honorably discharged in December of 1945. Mr. Sell served overseas in the Asiatic Pacific Area. He retired from the Manitowoc Shipbuilding Company after 32 years of employment retiring in March of 1980. He married Betty A. Henrickson, August 31, 1946, at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Mr. Sell is a life member and past president of the Eagles Aeries No. 706. He is a life member and Past Commander of the Otto Oas VFW Post No. 659 and is a life member and Past Seam Squirrel of the Military Order of Cooties Wisconsin No. 34. Mr. Sell was also active with The Boy Scouts of America and served with the Auxiliary Police with the Civil Defense and was a former member of the Boilermakers Union No. 443.

Survivors include his wife, Betty, three sons and a daughter-in-law, Dennis and Lois Sell, David Sell and Terry Sell; two daughters, Karen Skarvan and Kay Karbon all of Manitowoc; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Raymond and Katie Sell of Anderson, Indiana, Robert and Marsha Sell of Indianapolis, Indiana; 12 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

Friends may call at Reinbold-Pfeffer Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday. There will be a Service at 7:30 p.m. by the Military Order of Cooties.
