Mrs. Fabian (Margaret) Stadler, 79, of 1115 Columbus St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday evening, Dec. 6, at the family residence.

Funeral services will be 9 a.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Rev. Theodore Hendricks will officiate the Mass of Christian Burial and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mrs. Stadler, nee Margaret Ellen Gallagher, was born Feb. 14, 1904, in the Town of Newton, daughter of the late Edward and Sarah Ellen Kelly Gallagher. She attended schools in the Town of Newton and was a graduate of Lincoln High School. She married John J. Scheurell on Aug. 26, 1926, at St. Boniface Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on Nov. 8, 1944. She then married Fabian Stadler on Nov.24, 1955, at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Mrs. Stadler was employed at Mirro Corp. as a machine payroll clerk before her retirement. She was a member of St. Boniface Parish and St. Ann Society.

Survivors include her husband, Fabian; three sons and daughters-in-law, John and Delores Scheurell of Bellevue, Wash., Allan and Connie Scheurell of Manitowoc and Robert and Sally Scheurell of Milwaukee; a daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Donald Hamacher of Manitowoc; a step-son and daughter-in-law, Fabian Jr. and Darlene Stadler of Ventura, Calif.; two stepdaughters and sons-in-law, Pat and Him McGovern of Manitowoc and Nancy and Keith Schneider of Green Bay; 19 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John, a grandson, David Scheurell, and a brother, Edwin Gallagher.

Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday where a prayer service will be at 7 p.m.
