Henry A. Sturm Sr., 79, of 1216 S. 20th St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday, April 11, at St. Mary’s Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Harold Berryman and burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Sturm was born Jan. 9, 1906, at Two Rivers, son of the late Anton and Barbara Bunzow Sturm. He married the former Bertha (Mary) Ratajczak on Oct. 1, 1935, at St. Hetrick Catholic Church, Kewaunee. The couple resided at Two Rivers until 1970 when they came to Manitowoc to reside.
Survivors include his wife, Bertha; three sons and daughters-in-law, Henry A. Jr. and Bernadette Sturm of Manitowoc, Karl and Deanna Sturm of Two Rivers and Robert and Judy Sturm of Sheboygan; two daughters and sons-in-law, Joan and Roland Drumm of Manitowoc and Dianne and Ronald Wisnicky of Kewaunee; a brother, Frank Sturm of Whitelaw; three sisters, Mrs. Oscar (Ella) Benzinger of Manitowoc, Mrs. Rudolph (Julia) Rehrauer of Mishicot and Mrs. Wilbert (Anne) Hansen of Suring, Wis.; 14 grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, John and bill, a sister, Viola, and a granddaughter, Mary.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday where a prayer service will be at 7 p.m. by Deacon Ed Buchner.
