(1944 - 2007)

Robert A. ""Bob"" Sturm, 62, a resident of Sheboygan Progressive Care Center for the past nine years, died Saturday morning, Aug. 18, 2007, at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center.

Bob was born Dec. 2, 1944, in Two Rivers to Henry and Bertha (Ratajczak) Sturm Sr. He attended Mishicot High School. For 20 years, he was employed at Chicago and Northwestern Railroad in the maintenance department until illness forced his early retirement. He was a member St. Dominic Catholic Parish and a 4th Degree Member of the Sheboygan Knights of Columbus Our Lady of the Rosary Council 722. Bob loved watching the Green Bay Packers and collecting their memorabilia. He also looked after the needs and served as a spokesperson for his fellow residents at Sheboygan Progressive Care Center.

He is survived by two sisters, Joan Drumm of Manitowoc and Diane (Ronald) Wisnicky of Kewaunee; one brother, Henry (Bernie) Sturm Jr. of Manitowoc; a sister-in-law, Deanna Sturm of Two Rivers; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Karl Sturm, and one brother-in-law, Roland Drumm.

Memorial services will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2007, at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 2113 N. 22nd St., Sheboygan. The Rev. John Radetske, pastor, will officiate. A time of visitation and support will be held from 4 p.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name.

Bob's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Sheboygan Progressive Care Center for their loving kindness, care and support over the years. Bob will always be remembered for the love he shared for his nieces, nephews and their families. He will be missed.
