One of Shenandoah's Oldest Residents Dies
Mrs. Victoria Mozdyniewicz of 414 South Main Street, one of Shenandoah's oldest residents, died suddenly at her home yesterday afternoon after a long illness. Born in Poland, she came to this country as a young girl, settled in Shenandoah, and has lived here ever since.
Her husband, Jacob, died 18 years ago. She was a member of St. Casimir's Church and the Holy Rosary Society of that church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Mary Anna) Twardzik and Mrs. George (Sophia) Baker, both of this town; three sons, Jacob, at home, and Michael and Louis, both of this town; 16 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by 6 of her children.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later. Alex and Leonard Wentz are the funeral directors.
