MRS. WILFER, 38, SUCCUMBS
Funeral Services To Be Held Wednesday Morning
Mrs. George Wilfer, 38, nee Barbara Drewek, died at 7:50 Sunday afternoon at her home, 1513 South 14th street, of pneumonia. She had been ill for almost three weeks.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 8:30 from the Pfeffer funeral home and at 9 o’clock from the St. Andrews church. Burial will be made in the Calvary cemetery.
The deceased was born Sept. 18, 1897 in Athens, Marathon County. She came to Manitowoc 18 years ago. On June 23, 1923, she was married to George Wilfer, who survives. Mrs. Wilfer was a member of the St. Theresa Society of the St. Andrew’s church.
Survivors, beside her widower, include her mother, who lives in Athens; a daughter, Marion, at home; two sons, George and Vernon, both at home; three brothers, Edward, Joseph and Peter, all of Athens; and three sisters, Mrs. Arnold Tauschek of Manitowoc, Mrs. Frank Wozniak of Athens and Mrs. Joseph Dederich of Racine.
The body will lie at the funeral home from 7 o’clock this evening until the time of the services on Wednesday.
