DEATH TAKES A. WILFER, JR., ILL FOR A YEAR
Anton Wilfer Jr. passed away at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Wilfer Saturday evening after an illness of nearly a year.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 9 o’clock from St. Boniface church.
Decedent was well known. He was a member of Company H for six years and was a corporal in the company previous to receiving his discharge after serving his enlistment. In October he was sent to Camp Greenleaf, but failed to pass the examination to get into service and returned. Mr. Wilfer was born here and spent all his life in this city.
He is survived by his parents, four brothers, John at Milwaukee, Edward, who is with the colors and expects to be in New York soon, Joseph and George and one sister Ella.
Deceased was a member of the Eagles and the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin.
