Ada is the daughter of Reuben Redfearn and Millie Walls. She is a sister to Susanna "Susie", Mary, Fannie, Robert, John, Wilson, Lula, Jimmie and Baxter Redfearn.
Their mother would die in 1919 after developing traumatic pneumonia from a fall across a wagon wheel. Fannie would die of galloping consumption (tuberculosis) after an abortion in 1921. Ada was admitted to the asylum in the Summer of 1927 and died of Pellagra after a hospital stay of 1 mo 16 days. Her sister, Susie, would be admitted to the hospital on July 7 and die nine days later of Pellagra. Their father would die here in December from Exhaustion due to Mania. All three are buried here.
