Orlando Alexander was born on October 29, 1959 in Los Angeles, California to Lucious Alexander and Cora Lee Newman. He was the fourth born of seven children. He graduated from Jordan High School.

Orlando accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Tree of Life Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Billie James Ray. He served faithfully as an Usher for nine years.

Orlando was an entrepreneur who owned and operated a DJ and Mobile Detailing business for over 20 years.

In his spare time he enjoyed cooking, photography, listening to music, animals, horses, and traveling. He was loveable, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. His favorite sayings was "You know what I'm going to tell you something and you might not like what I am going to say but you aint doing nothing wrong God is Good".

On May 25, 2013, Orlando departed this life and entered into eternal rest with the Lord. Those who preceded him in death are his parents: Cora Lee Newman and Lucious Alexander, his sister Myleaka Alexander and his son Romas Orlando Alexander.

He leaves behind his fiancee Jacqueline Roberson; his children: Eunice (Randal), Jermaine (Roma), Destarra (Jeff), Teirra, Orlando Jr, Shakeema, Coreyon, Lil Orlando, Corra and other children; siblings: Lafiettera (Candy), Beverly Owens, Ersenia, Rosie, Rachelle and Artitia; 18 grandchildren; aunts: Rose and Mildred; uncle Charles Brooks and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
