Janet I. Rezach, age 82, of 1314 S. 16th St., Manitowoc, died Thursday, June 29, 2000, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Private Family Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, July 5, 2000, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, with Father Camillus Janas, O.F.M. officiating. Burial took place at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born January 16, 1918, in Spanish Mills, Ontario, Canada, daughter of the late John and Celia LaPlante Crane. Janet was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, class of 1936. On June 14, 1941, she married Howard M. Rezach. The couple recently celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on June 14, 2000.
Survivors include her husband, Howard, Manitowoc; one son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Sandy Rezach, Manitowoc; one daughter, Sally Rockwell, Mesa, Ariz.; six grandchildren, Rick (Karla) Rezach, Manitowoc, Lisa Cornette, Mishicot, Scott (Judy) Rockwell, Jodi Rockwell, Tammy (Steve) Jacobs, Amy (David) Boseck, all of Mesa, Ariz.; eight great grandchildren; and a sister, Jessie Eklund, Grapevine, Texas; also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Everett Eklund.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
