Graveside services for Ms. Addie Millis Mason, 76, will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Thursday, October 10, 2013 with Rev. Russ Clunan officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Ms. Mason passed away peacefully at her residence in Walker, Louisiana on Saturday, October 5, 2013. She was born September 27, 1937 in Mendenhall, Mississippi, to the late Willie Lee and Mary Elizabeth Lawson Millis. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister-in-law Anita Stringer Millis and brother-in-law Donald Akers, Sr.

Ms. Mason, a longtime resident of Tylertown, was a member of Tylertown Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Tylertown High School and Jackson Commercial College. Ms. Mason was a legal secretary and enjoyed baking and sewing. Ms. Addie was a sweet and loving mother who will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her daughter Rebecca Fore and husband John of Walker; brother John A. Millis of Texas City, Texas; and sister Willeen Akers of Knoxville, Tennessee; nieces and nephews Kathy Phillips, Lee Millis, George Hayden, III, Lana Plesek, and Lane Millis.

Pallbearers will be Greg Fauchaux, Cody Fauchaux, John D. Fore, Steve Smith, Dennis Bauer and Visitation will be at Capps Funeral Home on Thursday, October 10, 2013 from 9 A.M. until service time at 11:30 A.M.
