Henry is listed in Coshocton Co OH History gook by Hiii, as being a Rev. soldier, but no land grant has been found. Henry was a Sharpshooter in Morgan's Army, enlisted 1775, discharged 1783, also listed in Soldiers Buried in OH.
Henry was the father of six boys, was a Revolutianary War Soldier,and had engaged in many hand-to-hand encounters with the hostile Indians. the graves of Henry and his wife Mary Cynthia (McCarty),are two of the earliest in Prairie Chapel Cemetery,information taken from Clinton Indiana bio)
