Mablean Scott died Tuesday at Hillside Hospital. She was 73 years old.
Visitation will be held today from 6-9pm at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home.
Services will be held tomorrow at 2pm at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home with Robert Norman officiating. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery.
Survivors include three sons Herbert & Terri Scott, Charles Ray & Jennifer Scott, and Stoney Scott, all of Ardmore. She is survived by five daughters, Peggy & Sam King, Margaret & David Robinson, and Tammy & Ty Holt, all of Athens Alabama, Alene & Paul Wayne Watkins of Elkmont Alabama, and Carolyn Scott of New Market Alabama. Other survivors include five brothers, Lloyd & Floyd Phillips and Louie Phillips, all of Indiana, Aaron Phillips of Minor Hill, and Thomas Phillips of Prospect. She is survived by four sisters, Louise Pierce of Indiana, Mattie Gatlin of Athens, Grace Appleton of Ardmore, and Myrtle Tucker of Pulaski. Twenty-two grandchildren and eight great grandchildren also survive.
