Mrs. Mary G. Budnik, 83, of 1013 S. 21st?? St, Manitowoc, died Wednesday afternoon, June 5, at her residence following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Harold Berryman will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial and burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Budnik, nee Mary Grace Wier, was born May 9, 1902, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Michael and Anna Schroeder Wier. She attended St. Mary Parochial School and had been employed at Mirro Aluminum Company in Manitowoc. She was married to John L. Rohde. He preceded her in death in 1934. She then was married to Felix R. Budnik June 5, 1937, at St. Mary Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Felix, two daughters and sons-in-law, Joan and Clyde Niquette of Brookfield, Wis., and Carol and Robert Nelson of Hales Corners, Wis.; six grandchildren, Michael, William and Lynn Niquette, Catherine, Sarah and Bridget Nelson and a brother, Joseph Wier of Manitowoc. She was preceded in death by two sisters and six brothers.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, where a prayer service will be 8 p.m.
