MARY GAPINSKI

Mrs. Peter Gapinski, 67, of 1022 South 23rd street, died this morning at the Holy Family hospital following a lingering illness.

Mrs. Gapinski, nee Mary Jagodzinski, was born in this city in 1875 and in 1893 she was married to Mr. Gapinski, who for years before his retirement 14 years ago was employed by the Goodrich company. The Gapinski's celebrated their golden wedding anniversary last February.

Survivors are the widower; two daughters, Mrs. Peter Benes and Mrs. Alois Feltman, of this city; three sons, Paul and Alex of this city, Frank of Chicago; two brothers, John and Michael of this city; three sisters, Mrs. Rose Wicihowski of this city, Mrs. Ignatz Waznisk, Mrs. Joseph Jaroch, of Milwaukee; and three grandchildren.

The body will lie in state at the Pfeffer funeral home from Saturday evening at seven o'clock until the hour of the services. Burial will take place Monday at 8:30 a.m. from the funeral home and at nine o'clock from the St. Marys Catholic church, the Rev. John Landowski officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Gapinski was a member of the Rosary society of the congregation, whose members will gather at the funeral home Sunday night at 7:30 to recite the rosary.
