Mrs. Viola Hight
Dies in Hospital
Mrs. Viola Hight, 73, Lafayette,
a Burnettsville native and
a former Logansport resident,
died at 5:45 a.m. Friday at St.
Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette.
Born July 20,1890, she was the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William
Scales. Her first marriage
was in 1906 in Logansport to
Warren Zeider, who died in 1911.
In 1919 she married George
Hight of Logansport and moved
to Lafayette where they resided
until 1947 when Hight died. She
moved back to Logansport in
1947 and resided here until 1962
when she returned to Lafayette,
Survivors include a son, Ken-
neth E. Zeider, Lafayette; a
sister, Mrs. Lela Clary, 1314
Peter St.; a brother, Floyd Bur-
ris Scales, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.;
three grandchildren, eight great
grandchildren and several nieces
and nephews.
She was preceded in death by
a son and a sister.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday
at Hippensteel Funeral
Home, Lafayette. Burial will be
in Davis Cemetery near Bur-
nettsville.

Mrs. Viola Hight, 73, Lafayette,
a Burnettsville native and
