E. GAUTHIER, 68, DIES SUNDAY AT THE HOSPITAL


Edward Gauthier, 68, Roosevelt avenue, passed away last night at the hospital. For eighteen years the deceased was employed at the Goods Company and for two years was a member of the street department force of the city.

Funeral services will be held Thursday morning from the St. Mark Catholic church.

Mr. Gauthier was born in the town of Carleton, Kewaunee county, July 3, 1862. Forty-one years ago he was married to Mathilda Barrett, daughter of the Mr. and Mrs. Julius Barrett, of Lincoln, Kewaunee county. Since their marriage they made their home in Two Rivers.

Besides his widow he leaves three sons, Anton, Grover and David, all of this city, and three daughters, Mrs. George Ney, Mrs. Joseph Ney of this city, Miss May Guthier of Milwaukee. He is also survived by two brothers, Irvin and Adolph, of this city and one sister, Mrs. Frank Meverden, of Eland Junction.
