My mother was quiet like her own mother was, and she fell in love with my father before she graduated high school. She attended Ball State and got her nursing degree. It was during the beginning of their marriage that she suffered through several miscarriages and lost the first 2 children so soon after birth. She would come to know hardship. After mom and dad moved around alot, we finally settled in a new and growing town called loveland ohio in 1964. She was used to working in a hospital but was looking forward to working in a small town clinic. It was there in Loveland, that she worked for Dr William Blake Selnick. She had a very rough life growing up in rural indiana on a large farm and having to do farm chores everyday was hard for a growing teenage girl. She gave up alot and worked hard all her life. She had diabetes and other health issues that would eventually take her life. She died at the age of 69.
