Mrs. Bertha M. Arnold, 89, of
Spiro, died Nov. 9,1988 the Rockcastle
Hospital.
She was born in Rockcastle
County, Aug. 23.1899, the daughter
of Joe William and Sidney Cromer
Mink. She was a former schoolteacher
and a member of the
Fairview Church of Christ and attended
Berea College.
She is survived by a son, Ernie
Arnold of Goshen, Ohio and a daughter,
Loretta Howe, of Knoxville,
Tenn; a brother, Ed Mink of Brindle
Ridge; 11 grandchildren and 5 great
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her
husband, J.B. Arnold, Sr., two sons,
two grandchildren, four brothers and
two sisters.
Services were Nov. 12 at Dowell
and Martin Funeral Home by Bro.
Danny Grider. Burial was in the
Providence Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Frank Arnold,
Donnie Arnold, Ronnie Arnold,
Larry Johnson, George Omer Bishop
