DIES IN HOSPITAL.
Arcola, June 10 -- Frank Breman, a farm laborer who had been employed in the vicinity of Arcola for the last few months, died at the hospital in Tuscola Tuesday afternoon. Breman came to the Saratoga hotel in this city about ten days ago. He was ill at the time and Dr. O.F. Barnes was called to attend him. Realizing that the man's condition was very bad Dr. Barnes had him removed to the hospital.
The body was brought to the undertaking rooms of J. B. McCann Tuesday evening. Wednesday Mr. McCann got into communication with a brother of Breman who lives at St. Louis. The brother stated that he was not financially able to come to Arcola to look after the funeral, so arrangements have been made to bury Breman in the Potter's field in the Arcola cemetery Thursday morning.
Deceased was fifty-five years of age and the cause of his death is given as acute nephritis. When Breman registered at the hotel here he gave his address as Beardstown, Ill.
==========
(NOTE: Even though he is listed throughout the article as Frank BREMAN, I'm fairly certain the headstone is marked Frank BOWMAN, and the Illinois Deaths and Stillbirths Index lists him as Frank BOWMAN.)
