Edwin Gettle, Jr., husband of Margaret C. Eisenhauer Gettle, 10 S. Cherry St., Myerstown, died Thursday evening in Cedar Haven. He was 72, and was a retired employee of the Lebanon Steel Foundry. He was born in Lebanon to the late Edwin and Maggie Dougherty Gettle. In addition to his wife, Gettle is survived by children Nancy, wife of Carl Tice, Myerstown; Jean, wife of Glenn Miller, Myerstown; Margaret, wife of Harry Reich, Myerstown; Anita, wife of Paul Boyer, Lebanon; Dorothy, wife of Ronald Hibshman, Lebanon; Gloria Bennett, Lebanon; John E. Gettle, Wichita, Kansas; and Clyde E. Gettle, Lebanon; 22 grandchildren; six greatchildren; & brothers and sisters; Esther Kindt; Alice, wife of George Gingrich; George Gettle; William Gettle; Dorothy, wife of Bruce Spancake; Alvena,wife of John Kovach; and Marguerite, wife of Albert Weise, all of Lebanon; and a number of nieces and nephews. Interment was in Kimmerlings Cemetery.
