Roy L. Mason Buried Here On Saturday
Married to Martha Gilday of This Village in Nov. 1909
Roy L. Mason passed away on Wednesday, March 13 at the Colonial Hospital, Rochester. He had been ill seven weeks but until the last two weeks was his condition dangerous. Pneumonia was the cause of his death.
Mr. Mason was born fifty-four years ago at Dodge Center. He was joined in marriage to Miss Martha Gilday of Janesville in November 1909. For the past twenty-three years he had been manager of the Connelly Camera Co. of Rochester.
The deceased is survived by his wife and two sons, Donald and Gerald. Funeral services were held Saturday at St. John's Catholic Church in Rochester and the remains were brought here for interment in St. Ann's Catholic cemetery.
Those from out of town who were here for the services were Mrs. mason and children of Rochester, Mr. and Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Dickie of Faribault and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Gilday of Montgomery and Mrs. Walter Mason of Dodge Center.
