Josephine A. Kadow, 83, formerly of 1138 S. 23rd Street, Manitowoc, who now resided at St. Mary's Home, died early Wednesday morning, February 13, 1990, at the home.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Presiding over the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Roman Zbieranski O.F.M. with burial to follow at St. Mary Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Kadow was born March 2, 1906, at Manitowoc, Wisconsin, daughter of the late John and Anna Frozena Zagrodnik. She married Siegfried J. Kadow on June 3, 1930, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death February 2, 1988. The couple celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary in 1988. Mrs. Kadow was a member of The Rosary and Altar Society of St. Mary's Church.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Chester A. and Monica Kadow of Manitowoc; a brother and sister-in-law, Albert and Leona Zagrodnik of Manitowoc; a sister, Catherine Zagrodnik of Manitowoc; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two step great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday. Prayer Service will be held at 7 p.m. led by Father Roman.

One of the prettiest weddings of the early season was that of Miss Josephine Zagrodnik who became the bride of Siegfried Kadow at the St. Mary church 8:30 o'clock this morning with Rev. Father Pociecha performing the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John J. Zagrodnik, 1144 South 23rd Street and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kadow, Newton.

Miss Alice Kadow was the maid of honor with Miss Catherine Zagrodnik and Miss Alice Matczinski as the bridesmaids. The groom was attended by Frank Kadow as the best man and Joseph Frozena.

A wedding breakfast was served to the bridal couple and a dinner and supper was served to fifty relatives and friends at the home of the bride's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Kadow are leaving tomorrow on a two week's honeymoon trip to Chicago and St. Paul and upon returning will reside on a farm at Newton.

Out of town guests for the wedding include Messrs. and Mesdames John Glisch, Michael Glisch, Alex Glisch, Larry Glisch, Ben Kubera, John Kubera, Anton Krizinski, John Krizinski, Miss Frances Kadow, all of Milwaukee; Miss Clara Kadow of Cleveland and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Derezenski of Stevens Point.
