Michael Kaminski Sr., 68, retired meat market operator, died Friday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Edward Waniger, of 1417 Viebahn street, after a short illness.

Funeral services will be held at 8 a.m. Monday at the Pfeffer funeral home, the Ev. John Landowski officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary cemetery.

He was born in the city in 1878 and in 1899 married Miss Marcella Derla. He operated a market at 1801 Madison street for 37 years, retiring 10 years ago. His wife died 11 years ago.

Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Waniger, Mrs. Walter Dyckla and Adeline of this city and Mrs. John Bedford of Kaukauna; seven sons, Alois, Michael Jr., Anton, Florian, Ignatius, Leonard and Daniel all of this city; brother, Stanley of Milwaukee; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Schultz of this city and Ms. Ignatius Kabacinski of Milwaukee; 25 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The body may be viewed after 7 o'clock tonight at the funeral home where the rosary will be recited at 7 o'clock Sunday evening.
