Daniel L. Kaminski, 57, of 1429 N. 10th St., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly Wednesday morning of a coronary in New Berlin, Wis. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Schneider-Purath Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. David Passet will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. Military graveside rites will be accorded by Amvets Post 99.
Mr. Kaminski was born Aug. 12, 1920 in Manitowoc, son of the late Michael and Marcella Deria Kaminski. He was educated in Manitowoc area schools. He was a truck driver for Manitowoc Engineering Company, Manitowoc. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II as a tank driver in the 137th Armoured Division in France and Germany. He married Gladys Hermann June 28, 1941. Mr. Kaminski was a member of Wesley United Methodist church, Manitowoc and a member of Amvets Post 99.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys; two sons, Wayne of Green Bay and Ronal of Manitowoc; two daughters, Mrs. James (Sharon) Clark of Manitowoc and Miss Carol Kaminski of Springfield, Oregon; five brothers, Anton, Michael, Florian, Ernie and Leonard of Manitowoc; two sisters, Adeline Kaminski of Manitowoc and Mrs. John (Emily) Befort of Kaukauna and six grandchildren.
Friends may call in Schneider-Purath Funeral Home from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday where the Amvets will meet as a group at 7 p.m.
