GLADYS FLORENCE (HERMANN) KAMINSKI (d. 2005)

Gladys F. Kaminski, age 86, of 1429 N. 10th St., Manitowoc, passed away on Sunday,
Oct. 9, 2005, peacefully at her residence, with her family by her side.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral
Home with the Rev. Dr. Matthew Sauer officiating. Burial will follow at the
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Gladys was born June 10, 1919, in Manitowoc; daughter of the late Victor and Verona
Ruether Hermann. Gladys has been employed for 20 years at the City Dairy, retiring
in 1980 as the store manager. She then operated a private day care at her residence
for 19 years. On June 28, 1941, she married Daniel L Kaminski in Manitowoc. He
preceded her in death 37 years later on June 28, 1978.
She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law: Wayne Kaminski, Manitowoc;
Ronal and Christine "Sally" Kaminski, Manitowoc; two daughters and one son-in-law:
Sharon and James Clark, Manitowoc; Carol Kaminski and her significant other Sherry
Watson, Eugene, Ore.; six grandchildren: Jesse Clark; Amy (Doug) Stock; Sara (David)
Koehler; Chris (Kelli) Kaminski; Timm (Alyn) Kaminski; Rhonda (Mark) Zahn; 13 great-
grandchildren; two sisters-in-law: Marion Hermann, Green Bay; Ella Schroeder,
Manitowoc; special niece: Ruth Buretta, Manitowoc; along with other nieces, nephews,
relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel L. Kaminski
in 1978.
Friends may call the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 628 North
Water Street, Manitowoc, from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and also on Thursday from 9 a.m.
until the time of service at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials as a memorial fund is being
established in her name.
Mom's motto was: "Do your good better best. Never let it rest till your good is
better and your better best. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
